How to get your warlock to feast on supers.

The point of this build is as simple to grasp as the title, to produce then consume as many supers as possible, as fast and as often as possible.

How you may ask? An exotic, armour mods and a specific weapon perk are what’s needed in order to start creating this super generating factory of a Warlock.

This build centres around the new exotic, Mantle of Battle Harmony. It’s perk, Absorption Cells, is as follows: takedowns with weapons that have a damage type matching your subclass element grants you super energy. When your super is full, you instead gain a temporary bonus to damage.

This is truly one of the best Warlock exotics to have come out in Destiny 2 since it’s release and the best thing about it is that you can build different loadouts to match your different super elements, both defensive and offensive (stasis weapons will come at a later date).

Below, is one of my builds that I’ve been trialing the past few activities and IT IS A LOT OF FUN! This particular loadout centres around top tree Nova (SlowvaBomb). Which is a great damage bearing super as well as one of the best ad clearing supers in the game.

Let’s look at the armour mods you need to turbo charge the already turbo charged exotic perk for Battle Harmony. These new mods have been available every week to purchase from the war table since Season of the Chosen started. So if you’ve been doing that, then you should have all of them by now.

First up, Elemental light generates elemental wells of your chosen subclass after casting and defeating enemies with your super. We will come back to this shortly.

Elemental armaments is first necessary part to this build. Defeating enemies with your matching elemental energy weapon has the chance to generate elemental wells, in this case, void. Generating these wells are crucial to the entire build working as it all feeds into the next mod.

The big one.

Font of Wisdom grants a temporary increase to intellect and improves the recharge rate of your super. A whopping 30 seconds worth! This also resets each time you pick up an elemental well, so you can get another 30 seconds immediately after. The first mod I showcased was Elemental light, which produces an elemental well upon casting and defeating enemies with your super. So as soon as your super is over, pick up the element well on the floor and you’ll start the cycle over again with that 30 second turbo boost to begin your super charge!

Just for good measure you can throw this final mod on, elemental ordnance, creates a guaranteed elemental well when defeating enemies with your grenade. This is another sure fire way to get those wells going and feeding that hungry Font of Wisdom.

Of course, in order for these mods to work you need to be defeating enemies with an energy weapon that matches your subclass. For my void build I’ve selected this excellent Bottom Dollar with Outlaw for quick reloads on precisions but more importantly, thresh.

Thresh grants bonus super energy when defeating enemies. So with every kill you charging your already stacked super charge rate with even more fuel! A decent heavy weapon also goes a long way and I’m using the heavy machine gun, Commemoration, from the Deep Stone Crypt raid with a feeding frenzy / rampage roll to help slay ads as fast as possible!

All in all this is an incredibly effective loadout for pretty much all occasions, battlegrounds and nightfalls in particular have been great fun. Previous to this I was running Charged with Light mods that focused on stacking High Energy Fire x4 via the Supercharge mod. This was fantastic for damage output on bosses and enemies in general. But with this new build here, I’ve definitely found my new long term Warlock strat.
